About
I was five years old when I was first introduced to ceramics. My first piece was the product of a young boy’s vivid dream. From nothing but the imagination, I created a dog next to a tree with a bird’s nest. It was simple and beautiful to a child with his entire life ahead of him. This was the beginning of my lifelong love affair with clay.
I was fortunate to be raised in Argentina, in an environment where creativity is not simply respected but always nurtured. After attending college in the United States and graduate school in England, I returned to America to immerse myself in my creative endeavors.
Throughout the years I was involved in film-making and painting, but my artistic journey always led me back to ceramics. The ability to mold the clay in slow and deliberate ways allows my fingers to define not just my art, but also to open the doors of my imagination.
